Human security implies freedom from fear and freedom from deprivation.
Types:
i) To protect citizens from all kinds of threats.
ii) To govern the country well .
(2) what is 'comprehensive security'? who works for comprehensive improvement ?
Ans.
Comprehensive security is a diverse approach where the entire threats and preventive
measures of a region are taken into consideration. Different security agencies work
together for comprehensive improvement, and UN plays major role in it.
(3) what kind of security is important to a country in times of disaster besides
military security ?
Ans.
Beside military security a new concept known as human security is important for every
country during the natural disasters. Human security includes:- environmental security ,
economic security, political security.
(4) what is an NGO ? write the name of one NGO.
Ans.
Organisations which are not part of the government, work in
sectors of environment health, women and child development
of India. Example lions club international.

Our field-visit to government hospital chandansar(Virar) allowed us to explore the
government health care facilities in the area. We discovered various government
schemes and programs targeting different groups , including children , women , the
elderly , and economically weaker sections of society. The primary health care center
was well- equipped, and the government hospital in the clinic offered comprehensive
services.
(4) Meet with the political or social leader or a government official . Know
their views on the social / political issues and challenges before India.
Discuss it in the classroom. Write down your suggestions to solve those
problems.

Meeting with a political leader , the discuss social issues in India. Our
suggestions included poverty alleviation , gender equality , health care
improvements , education enhancements , and sustainable development .
