Security is an inherent need and response of any living being. Nature has gifted
every creature on earth the capabilities and resources of utmost protection / self
protection of its own life.
(2) India's natural resources India's strength. Justify this statement . ( only
five points )
Ans.
i) India's abundant mineral resources specially coal bauxite , manganese and
iron.
ii) India is also one of the biggest producers and exporters of coal and the
largest exporter of diamond .
iii) India's main source of economy is agriculture. It is one among exporters of
rice wheat and more crops.
iv) India has a very large reserve that is a major produce of paper, firewood ,
spices , gums, herbs, etc .
v) With mountains , deserts and seas along with ancient history and rich
cultural heritage , India is known as to be on of the most beautiful tourist
destination.
(3) Find out about India's achievements in nuclear science and space research
sectors from the perspective of national interest and national development.

Important points :
(1) ISRO built India's first satellite 'Aryabhatta' which was launched by the
Soviet Union .
(2) In 9080 , ISRO launched a satellite that was very useful in the study of space.
(3) India is one of the few countries in the world with autonomous satellite
capabilities.
(4) ISRO as the world's constellations of Remote sensing satellites.
(5) RLV took it's first flight ever on May 23, 2016.
(4) What efforts can be made at the family level for human security/safety? Write

India's security systems. Two incidents are given below. Find out about any one
