(1) Field visit: Visit the nearest police station in your area and get information about its functioning. Write your experience of the visit.

Ans.
I visited Bit Chauki (Virar) that is nearest to me. I asked him about their functioning. He told me about their Working style, Whenever someone went there for any complaint first they make a FIR of complaint. Later they starts the investigation and try to find evidences of crime. Later they submits it to the court for further procedure.


2) Group discussion : (1) Joining the 'Home Guards' team is an opportunity for social service. (2) I would like to be a HomeGuard.

• Conduct a group discussion on the above topics. Write five important points from the discussion below :

(1) This organisation was established in the pre-independence period.

(2) Citizens can join the Home Guard and assist in the defence of the country.
