Name of the activity :
To study a project implemented in the area in the context of management.


Purpose/importance of the activity :
Water resources management is the process of planning , developing , and managing water resources.


Proposed time duration for the activity :
One day is required .


Materials and apparatus required for the activity :
Pen , book , for collecting data .


Methodology of the activity:

i) Before creating a water management plan a site survey of all facilities and water system is important.

ii) This will help you in proper planning.

iii) To determine whether we need water management project or not. Some questions should be asked that include :

a) Do I have cooling tower ?
b) Do I have centralised hot water system?
c) Do I have a centrally installed humidifier?
d) Do I have any decorating fountains , swimming pools or hot tubs that are drained between each use?

iv) If you answer is 'yes' for this question then you need to plan for water management.

v) Plan is started by collecting water samples and cost data to determine proper baseline.

vi) Determine your overall water use.

Water management is growing trend that enables in bringing down the water bill, saving money, water and environment.
