river.
Ans.
Ariver that flows into a river basin in the form of springs even in
the absence of rain is called living river. River that stops flowing
when the rain stop is called a dead river.
(5) Explain any five uses of rivers.
Ans.
Humans use rivers for irrigation in agriculture, for drinking
water , for transportation, to produce electricity through
hydroelectric dams , and for leisure activities like swimming
and boating.

There are many factors that pollute the rivers such as :
