Study the amount of Water used in the house.
Purpose/importance of the activity :
i)To Implement various ways of water conservations.
ii)To built habits which will prevent water wastage.
Proposed time duration for the activity :
A week i.e. is 7 to 8 days.
Materials and apparatus required for the activity :
Book, pen, pencil, mobile, textbook.
Methodology of the activity:
i) Man not only needs water for drinking
but also for other uses like cooking,
bathing, washing clothes and washing
vehicles.
ii) Water plays a very important role from primary to business
related uses of man.
iii) Following is the water percentile needed in household
chores:
a. To wash our face :1%
b. To wash vessels : 2%
c. Toilet : 24%
d. Bath : 20%
e. Cooking :20%
f. To wash clothes : 17%
g. Tap leakage : 12%
h. Other uses : 4%

What New Things did you Learn ?
We get water naturally in the form of rain. But it gets
polluted due to our mistake and we can't use it for
household chores.
Conclusion:
We can implement various ways of water
conservation. We can explain importance of water to
others.
